Marijuana poisoning

Poisoning with marijuana ("yerba") is euphoria, relaxation, and sometimes the undesirable side effects that can occur when people use marijuana .

Marijuana is the most commonly used illegal drug in the United States. Usually this drug is smoked, but sometimes it is eaten.

symptom
The narcotic effects of marijuana include relaxation, drowsiness, and mild euphoria (getting euphoric).

Smoking marijuana leads to rapid and predictable signs and symptoms. Eating marijuana can cause slower and sometimes less predictable effects.

Marijuana can cause undesirable side effects, which increase with higher doses. These side effects include:

Decrease in short-term memory
Dry mouth
Altered perception and motor skills
Redness of the eyes
More serious side effects include panic, paranoia, or acute psychosis , which may be more common with new users or those who already have a psychiatric illness.

The degree of these side effects varies from one individual to another, as does the amount of marijuana used.

Marijuana is often replaced with hallucinogens and other more potent drugs that have more serious side effects than marijuana itself. These side effects may include:

Acute arterial hypertension with headache
Chest pain and heart rhythm disturbances
Extreme hyperactivity and physical violence
Heart attack
Seizures
Stroke
Sudden fainting (cardiac arrest)
